Gain Muscle - 3 Essential Tips For How to Build Muscle Quick

Like most men who start working out and lifting weights, they want to gain muscle, and they want to know exactly how to build muscle quick. Sadly, there is no magic pill we can all take each day and grow 24 inch pythons in a week and a half. However, there are a few essential tips for how to build muscle quick and get the most out of our ability to gain muscle.

The first tip is diet. Diet is essential in every and all aspects of exercise regardless of whether you are a weight lifter, or a marathon runner. If you don't have the right diet, you won't get the right results.

The first thing to do is cut back significantly on your carbohydrate intake. Carbohydrates are used by the body as energy and fuel. The problem is that most of us take in way to many, and the carbohydrates that don't get used are turned into fat and sugar and stored in the body. This causes weight gain, but not in the ways we want to gain weight.

The second tip is to significantly increase your fat and protein intake. When we lift weights, we tear our muscles. Protein and fat are used to help repair thees muscles and replace the torn parts. This is how we can bulk up as quickly as possible. When we cut back on our carbs, our body will use this protein and fat as fuel and to repair our muscles instead of the carbohydrates.

It's important also as a note that you work out until you feel pain in your muscles, but it needs to be a good pain. If you are unable to move them because of the pain, or you feel stabbing pain, you should see a doctor immediately. This is not the type of pain you are looking for. It should be more of an aching burning pain associated with a good workout.

The final tip for how to build muscle quick is the type of workout you do. Most men will want to pile the weights on and pump out a couple repetitions that way. This doesn't do very much but burn the muscles out. You also don't want to go to light either. This will cut your muscles and make you look good, but it won't help as much to build muscle.

The best workout is a total of 8 - 10 reps for a total of forty to fifty repetitions overall. This means you should be able to do a total of four or five sets of ten repetitions each. By the time you are finished, you should be burnt and barely able to do the final set of reps. This will allow you to push your muscles to the max without destroying them, but at the same time tearing them in a way that allows them to repair themselves and start to bulk up.
